Use the AS/400 Developer Kit JDBC driver. So you can connect the AS/400 
per SNA instead of TCP/IP. Don't start the TCP/IP-host-server on AS/400 
and nobody will connect your AS/400 per TCP/IP.

I have to open a port number on the firewall for servlets to get data from
AS/400. Now my AS/400 is exposed to the internet. How to isolate AS/400 
from
internet?
