Buck, thanks alot. I appreciate the note. Again, I'm not against newbie questions, I just have a problem with certain attitudes. What I'd LIKE to see is both JAVA400-L and JAVA101-L flourish. And I hope that you continue to pursue the language, and all the other new technologies that the AS/400 is beginning to incorporate. And I apologize for what was hopefully just a brief, if unpleasant, interlude. I also very much appreciate the opportunity to watch bits of an application take form. It has been a long road, but not completely without merit for me. This forum was (until JAVA-101) the only place I could read and post questions that an AS/400 person could understand. I've gotten real benefit from it. You see, Our company doesn't yet use Java. At all. I want to be in front of the curve. I've downloaded Bruce Eckel's book "Thinking in Java" and am reading it. I have a copy of Ivor Horton's "Beginning Java 2" and am reading it. I'm working my way through the Sun and IBM tutorials as well as the fine stuff on zappie.net. This list is an excellent supplement because it is an admixture of AS/400 and "other" platform people. I just want to tell you that you and your fellow experienced crewmembers' time was not wasted, despite the fact that I'm a newbie. Thanks!
