Which is a reason I would prefer a linux version.  Most of what takes "so
long" and slows down the console is not the client admin tool, is the server
jobs that are running.  So, for that reason, I don't think a browser based
solution would work.  You'd probably get timeout errors.  I'd rather see the
status bar changing to know things are happening, even if it does stay one
"tick" from the end for the last 8 minuts of an operation.  ;)

The reason I want a linux client (I don't want WAS for linux, just a client
admin tool) is because I also want to administer AS/400 web servers from
home if I have to.  I want to do this over the internet and over a VPN
(which I'm not sure is possible yet).

Windows 98 client would work.  Linux would be a nice feature as well, but I
don't have VPN working on my linux box just yet.
