We also had that problem.

The only way folders can be created under qdls is to go from a green screen
and use the wrklnk command or under the soon-to-be-defunct-officevision.
Creating a folder under I believe this is because the folder QDLS doesn't
allow long folder or file names.

I am new at using the IFS and I have a problem.  I can create folders from
an AS400 session but not in Windows 98 explorer.  I am able to map the
as400 as a network drive.

When I try to create a new folder under \QDLS I get a message box saying
"Access denied".

What should I do?
