Thought I'd post this again with a more correct subject. It seemed to be of interest to a group of people... If you use the QSH CL command with the CMD parameter, before running it, you can set the environment variable "QIBM_QSH_CMD_OUTPUT" to a value of "NONE", you can have the output thrown away. Alternately, set the value to "FILE=pathname" to have the output stored in an IFS file. This also keeps the output session from being displayed. V4R4 PTF SF64740 V4R5 PTF SF64741 in the base version of qshell for V5R1. Not sure if a command keyword is being added.
