No, Brad, in my estimation you think reuse of code via inheritance is no
different than reuse of code from calling service programs.  The truth is,
there is a fundamental difference between calling a different service
program based on testing a variable and having the object send a different
message based on its object type.  To you it may be trivial, to me it's a
lifesaver and a fundamental part of the concept of object orientation.

Until you've written a few hundred thousand lines of code, you don't have
the right to kick the language.  At least not here.  This is a list devoted
to the uses of Java, or legitimate gripes about specific issues, not general
"Java sucks" messages.  If you'd like to kick Java before you even
understand it, please do so on RPGeneration X or some other Java bashing
forum.
