Joe: I've recently discovered that IE & Netscape have a lot of rather major differences in the way they work. Server based code (that doesn't really do anything that *SHOULD* be browser specific) behaves radically different with the various different browsers. On a recent project we had to make our programs jump through hoops to work with IE, when it worked with Netscape exactly as we expected it to. david -- | Internet: firstname.lastname@example.org | WWW: http://www.davids-place.net | | Victory does not convey legitimacy +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: email@example.com +---
