Which version of WebSphere are you using?  If it is 3.0.2 or higher, you
may be having this problem because the application server runs under the
QEJBSVR user profile by default, and that profile is shipped without a
password.  You can set a password for QEJBSVR and see if that helps. I
believe the Toolbox connection requires that the user profile being used
have a password.

Dan,

     Thank you for your Info, Basically the problem was with the version of
websphere we had. It was not recognizing the AS400 class. I was able to get
it working, If i supply the userid and password. but it does not work when
I use *current as the userid and password. Do you have any suggestions.

Where do you logon to the AS/400.  When you create a new as400 object there
are 3 constructors.  by setting the conn to null
and creating a new as400 WITHOUT connection info.  Only catch a general
Exception and print the Exception variable.  This
will help debug the error.

Hi all,

     I am trying to Read a Stream File and  Display the Data on  a browser.
For
this to happen I  create a AS400 object and then read the data from the
StreamFile. It creates the HTML header,But never displays the data from the
Stream File. Any suggestions appreciated.
