Hi,
We are developing java based application. The programs access DB2/400 thru
as400JDBC driver. One connection to the database is made at user login. This
connection is used by all calling programs for accessing data from the
database. I face the following problem -
We continously insert/update records into a physical file.
After a few
records, Insert/Update fails. Now to enter a record we need to exit out of
the whole application.
'wrkobjlck' on the file shows that for each update/insert a
shared lock is
made. I tried an explicit commit. But the lock remains. This is what the
wrkobjlck sceen shows -
