Aha, I have the same problem with browsers. We e-mail many of our reports in PDF format rather than HTML. This preserves pagination, fonts, columns, and all that. The conversion to PDF is done on the AS/400, in Java, using a utility, CPYSPLFPDF, that you can track down through http://www.zappie.net/ <http://www.zappie.net/> . It was shareware when we acquired it but there may be a commercial version now. Works great.
