You should try the distributed debugguer offered on the VAJ Enterprise Edition CD.
(Not included in VAJ itself)
With it you can debug: Java, C++, RPG, running on a PC or on the AS400 (remote
debugguing).
I've seen a demonstration of the product, it's really impressing.
