There is a Performance Considerations document at

which may have some useful information for you.

Subject: Improving Servlet performance on the AS/400

We are using WebSphere 3.0.2 standard on an AS/400 720 1.5GB RAM V4R5. I am
running some java servlets that display data in HTML tables. We are
experiencing very slow performance. I was wondering if there are some tips
on increasing the performance of servlets or Websphere performance. We are
also running Domino/Lotus Notes on the same machine could that affect
performance with WebSphere. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom
