Hey.. Maybe we could define an area that gets attached to the IP address that could be used to communicate information between sessions... We could call it a COMMAREA(?)... Actually, the impementation of this type of application is pretty standard with Web. They call is Session control?... Depending on the browser type, you either put the information into non-display parts of the HTML (does this sound familiar to 3270 folks?), or you pass Cookies back and forth. I've run across a couple of examples. Look at the Servlet/JSP examples. O'Reilly has a servet book that is pretty good.
