No am afraid not Micheal, BigDecimal as a
representation of large numbers has no need to keep
leading zeros. So there are no methods that allow you
to keep them, the same is true of its superclass
number.

You of course always have the option of extending
BigDecimal and modifying the way it represent numbers.
