No am afraid not Micheal, BigDecimal as a representation of large numbers has no need to keep leading zeros. So there are no methods that allow you to keep them, the same is true of its superclass number. You of course always have the option of extending BigDecimal and modifying the way it represent numbers. --- "Gibbons, Michael" <bmis04@MARYWOOD1.MARYWOOD.EDU> wrote: > Hello, > > Is there a way to stop BigDecimal from stripping out > leading zeros ? > > Thanks in Advance ! > > Michael P.
