I know nothing about JAVA on the AS/400. So I would like to learn, what steps do I need to write a hello world program in java, just the 400. I know this question is strange, but can I write the application just on the 400? Or do I have to write it on the PC as a client? Also, what's steps are needed to setup Java on the 400? Are all the pieces there? Or do I have to install something? My test box is running v4r3 thanks for any help you might be able to provide... tim +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
