Hello everyone,
I've done some servlet programming in the past (more than a year ago)
When trying out a simple servlet that reads the contents of a data area and
gives an overview of the user
libraries I receive the following error in the generated web page:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.net.SocketPermission 10.1.1.4:449 connect,resolve)
I checked and double-checked my user profile, password etc...but can't find
a solution.
I used the code in a standalone application and this works fine
Has java security been changed for servlets opening socket connections?
I'm using the Java Web Server 2.0 as a test environment
Thanks for helping out...
