Typically you see this exception if your CFGTCP, option 10 does not have an exactly matching host table entry for the box as setup in CFGTCP, option 12. Verify that in CFGTCP option 10, you have an exact match for an entry for the server in terms of upper/lower/mixed casing and fullyqualified with domain attached. If you don't have one, you should add one in option 10 as the first entry and then try bringing up your http server instance configured for WebSphere. I am working with the community college I teach at to set up Websphere for use in a servlet class (a learning experience, not an object... :-) ). We've got the HTML server running, but when I set up the instance to run Websphere, it consistently goes to a JVAW state. When I end the job, I get the resulting error and job log.... If anyone can provide guidance on what to do next and/or where to look to figure this out, I would greatly appreciate it!!! BTW, the box was donated by IBM, so everything is on it (including net.commerce, Netfinity, etc.) Could this be the problem? Thanks in advance!! dan <<joblog.txt>> <<printer.txt>>
