Is Test defined in a package? If it is not in a package and /java/user/projects/Test.class exists, then you need to add "/java/user/projects" to your classpath and you need to reference "Test". If Test were in a package called "projects" then you need "/java/user" in the classpath and reference "projects.Test", etc. It sounds like you are referencing java.user.projects.Test in order to get that error message? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Perez" <MPEREZ@grinfire.com> To: "Java400 (E-mail)" <java400-l@midrange.com> Sent: Monday, May 22, 2000 10:21 PM Subject: path problem > I'm another java newbie, and I'm having trouble running a simple program on > the as/400.
