Hi all,

I have started with my Java/400, and I have run the Hello world that is shipped
along with the system. When I try to create my own Hello world program, I could
not succeed in it. I have done the following.

1. I have created a source physical file with the name KKRSRC.

2. I have created a txt called Hello.java

3. I have converted that to a stream file with the same name 'Hello.java' in the
Ascii mode. (Here I dont know how to specify the path for the stream file that
is going to get created)

4. Also I tried to set the class path. In fact I created one directory called
Kalyan, but I dont know how to place the stream file into that directorty.

5. I tried to give the command javac Hello.java

6. It gives an error message saying 'Cant read Hello.java'

Can some one please guide me, as it is the start for me.

Thanks,

Kalyan
