  • Subject: Java or Perl?

I have a problem. I need to do socket service processing to send info to
different systems on our LAN (including our Web servers). Does the Java
implemented on the AS/400 support this? Also, has anyone used Perl? This
seems to be a promising language, and it does support socket processing.
Anyone out there having info on AS/400 Perl and Java Socket processing would be
greatly appreciated.
