There is a book called "Java for RPG Programmers" by Phil Coulthard and George Farr: ISBN: 1889671231 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1889671231/qid%3D934814129/002-4058768-0197210 Amazon has rated it 4 out of 5 stars. I'm a Java programmer, not an RPG programmer, so I can't comment. I only know about it because I saw it at JavaOne this year, and it caught my attention. For all-around Java learning, you should check out Bruce Eckels book "Thinking in Java". It is very well written, and can be downloaded for free or read directly from his website. http://www.bruceeckel.com/javabook.html There are a few good resources available from COMMON as well. The fall '98 conference had some good hands on labs taylored to RPG/COBOL programmers. -Terrell Al Hurst wrote: > > I work for an organization that has an AS/400 and we have used ILE RPG > for all of our programming needs.
