Thanks to everyone for taking time to make suggestions. It is very much
appreciated. I looked through the responses and none corrected my
problem. I may not have been clear in my note that this is a run time
problem, not a compile time problem. If anyone has any other suggestions
they would be welcome. I can only conclude at this point that Websphere
on the AS/400 platform does not work as documented. Does anyone know if
there is a way to tell IBM one of their products does not work without
getting charged for it. Thanks again for your help.
