The AS/400 Toolbox for Java has a 'JarMaker' utility. Feed JarMaker a jar file
and the class you require, and it will create a new jar file with that class and
all of its dependencies. JarMaker is new to the Toolbox as of V4R4. Go to the
Toolbox home page (http://www.ibm.com/as400/toolbox), go to the downloads page,
download the evaluation of the Toolbox, then give JarMaker a try.

AS/400 Toolbox for Java

Does anyone know where to find the steps necessary or have the steps
to reduce the size of a jar so an applet can execute more quickly/
Actually I'd like to know if anyone has done this successfully. I know in
theory this is not rocket science but it has been elusive in real time/world
application.

Thanks in advance.
