Mike,
    Think u have an AS/400 V4R3.The book was written for V4R2.the RAWT
classes are completely different for these two versions.
   U should have JRE1.1.6 to run your RAWT server on the PC.
   U can download the latest HTML document "AS/400 Developer's Kit for
Java" from the IBM AS/400 site.It gives u the necessary info.
