I subscribed to this list a couple of months ago when I first found it. No, there hasn't been a lot of activity. It the shop I'm at, we have just started experimenting with Java on the 400 (as well as all the related internet technology) We just got a shiny new 170 to play with (production is running on a 510). Right now our web server is Apache running on a Linux machine. The 510 FTPs data to it as part of the nightly processing then perl scripts allow customers to do inquiries via the web. That will probably change in '99. Most likely we'll move all the web stuff to the 170. Maybe there are enough of us out there now to start using this list. Cheers, -- George -- George A.
