"Hi, the source in the IFS is the most up to date."

Where do I download that source for the ILEDocs then?

Hi, the source in the IFS is the most up to date.

Installing from the IFS can be very easy.

Packaging all dependencies in one archive is not a good idea. It would be
better if we had a package manager which would install all dependencies
automatically. I am working on it.

Ok, I didn't realize all of those were needed. I'll work on getting them
restored over to our dev box.

FWIW it would be helpful to include those required packages in the
download or maybe document the requirements in the install steps on
http://rpgnextgen.com/index.php?content=iledocs

Is "rpgparser.rpgle" in that directory of the repo the same as what the
debugger is looking for as "RPGPARS"? I assumed that it was actually and
pointed it the RDP debugger at it, but the source did not match the
object when debugging. Any thoughts? Is the source on SF out of date?

PS - I don't have any experience compiling with source on the IFS
unfortunately, so that could be a challenge for me initially.

Hi,

the project is a little unorganized yet.

It has the following requirements:

- Linked List -
http://www.rpgnextgen.com/index.php?content=download#llist
- ParmEval -
http://www.rpgnextgen.com/index.php?content=download#parmeval
- Linked List Utilities -
http://www.rpgnextgen.com/index.php?content=download#lutil
- Message - http://www.rpgnextgen.com/index.php?content=download#message
- Tokenizer - see attached

The source for ILEDocs can be found in the SVN at Sourceforge.net:
http://iledocs.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/iledocs/src/parser/

The serviceprograms from rpgnextgen.com support make for creation. The
source is provided as stream files (IFS). The Makefile must have a non
EBCDIC CCSID. This can be easily done with the convert.sh script from
rpgnextgen.com : http://www.rpgnextgen.com/index.php?content=resources

Regards

Mihael

I'm not getting anything in the ILEDBASE table after calling the
procedure

so I want to throw it in debug to track down the issue (there are no
errors being put in the job log).

The objects are not compiled with source embedded apparently so I
cannot

debug from the listing in RDP 8 so what is the easiest way to get the
tarball installed on the box so I can debug?

Thanks,
Robert Newton
