Joe,

I have two pc's. I installed apache on both. Deployed the WAR file to both
system. One system works, the other doesn't. Even after removing the
reference of the conversion table, I still get a message stating error with
conversion table.

I had copied the apache folder from the pc that works to the pc that does,
but it still gave the same error message.

Where else should I look to see why this is happening, or is it PMR time?

Tim, here's one of mine that works fine (albeit with V5R4 of i, but that
shouldn't make a huge difference):

<remoteCall pgmName="ORDINQR"
conversionTable="CSOE037" javaWrapper="YES"
library="IRUI" location="IRUIHOST"
luwControl="SERVER" refreshScreen="YES"
remoteBind="GENERATION" remoteComType="JAVA400"
remotePgmType="STATEFUL"/>

While I don't think that the luwControl or refreshScreen keywords have
any bearing on this situation, I find it interesting that you have no
conversionTable specified. I always specify mine (and I always use
CSOE037).

Joe

Joe, I have it defined as Stateless. I have pasted my build descriptor
below. If you don't notice anything wrong with this, what else might it
be?

Iseries o/s is v5r2.

Tim, how are you defining the remotePgmType in your bulid descriptor?
If you're using EXTERNAL, you should switch to either STATEFUL or
STATELESS and the error should go away. If you're already using one of
those, then there's a different issue.

Joe

I am getting this message when trying to call an iseries program that
contains parms.

"CSOE037 is an unsupported conversion table"

When I call an iseries program without parms, it works fine. What does

this

mean?
