I looked, but could find nothing to answer your question, but one of
those random thoughts hit...

With the advent of IP version 6 and the pending depletion of IPv4
addresses, should we code applications to support both IPv4 and IPv6?
Last I heard was we're on track to consume the last IPv4 address within
the next 18 months. It seems fairly certain that we should be more
aware of this upcoming event and plan for it now.
