You can upgrade over a Fp or hotfix.

You can upgrade over fix pack, but remove any hot fixes, if memory serves right.

Brain freeze time.

I upgraded my test LPAR to 852FP3 many months ago and delayed production
upgrades until we resolved some other questions with IBM. Now I'm ready
to upgrade a production LPAR and I don't remember just what I did.

Do I need to remove QFP68521 then install QFP68523 (after removing the
installed PTF) or can I just install FP3?

Thanks in advance...

...Ken
