Sounds like she has accidently sorted her view by Forward/Reply/None of the
Above. I would bet that her missing messages are at the top or bottom of
her view -- have her reset the sort on the view.

If that doesn't do it, there's another possible culprit, but it's a pain to
describe, so I will save you reading through it.

I have a user that, when she replies to a message, the original message
stops appearing in her inbox. It is in All Documents view. Traditionally
I would blame this on her clicking the "View Unread" button that now only
shows unread messages. However other unread messages continue to appear
in her inbox. And a technician, who I'll give some credit to (and knew
about the "View Unread" trap) remotely connected to her client and
witnessed this phenomenom.

Any clue as to how this is happening?
