One of two things.
First assumption: You are running the internal Domino browser and not
MSIE or MSIE within Notes.
Based on that assumption then I am guessing that one of two things
happened. One, that the internal browser has some funky thing to do that.
Or, two, you have a DNS entry, or she has a host table entry, that pushes
"notes" to a Domino server.
What do you have in the server document for "notes", Internet Protocols,
HTTP, Mapping, Home URL?
