Patrick, Yes there are a few ways to prevent connections to the POP3 server. Easy way.... Simply change the POP3 TCP/IP port from 110 to something like 23455. Even the smartest users would have a hard time figuring that out. Check and see if the One Voice Technologies solution can use other ports instead of the standard 110 for connections. Most software packages do allow other ports to be used. Harder way....... Setup up and require SSL & X.509 certificates, that is only if you really want to be sneaky, it would take a little bit more work to setup but is not that hard. You would also need to check One Voice solution to see if it supports that feature as well. Check the Notes Admin Help database for the options, keep in mind that POP3, if set to check the database for updates often enough can generate allot of CPU usage too. Yes, you can Full Text Index only one replica in a cluster on another server etc. We do this all the time, and there is nothing special to it since you do need to set the full text index option up on each replica.
