I remember having some issues with the qshell install as well. I think
that initially I was having problems because there was no library list
entry for whatever library the java program was in. But that can't be it
because it resides in QSYS! I may have had to do a CHGCURDIR to be the
directory I put the setup.jar in....

Yes, the Domino server is shut down.
Yes, I am using iSeries Access for Windows for emulation.
I'd love to get the prompt for activation code. But I am getting no
prompt.

Re: Trend upgrade

Is your Domino Server shut down? Are you using Client Access for
emulation.

I recently upgraded without any problem.

Make sure you have the activation code so you can key it into Qshell. It

doesn't seem to let you enter it after the fact.

Trend upgrade

Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I think I'm following the
instructions at

http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/documentation/readme/smd_30_as400_en_readme.txt

to upgrade from 2.6 to 3 of Trend Micro's Scan Mail for Lotus Domino
Section 5.2
I downloaded the zip file. I used WinZip to extract the 2479\setup.jar.

Used Windows explorer to copy that from my drive to a share on the
iSeries, /rob/trend/2479.
Then I:
STRQSH
  $
cd /rob/trend/2479
  $
ls
  setup.jar
  $
java -cp /QIBM/ProdData/Java400/jt400ntv.jar:./setup.jar run -console"
  >

No longer input inhibited. Never got prompted for any ancillary screen
like license acceptance, etc.
