I went to an "IBM Lotus Notes and Domino 7 Live!" show in Indy yesterday.

The presenter with the think European accent, who spoke with a monotone,
who ignored the title of session 2a and repeated only stuff presented
previously said that DB2/UDB doesn't run on the iSeries yet. Evidently
he's not playing on the IBM team.

Then he remarked that the reason that the DB2/UDB - Domino interface is
not supported on the iSeries yet is that they need to add some additional
features to the iSeries version of DB2/UDB. I tried to pin him down on
what was needed, and if this missing feature(s) were going to be on the
next release of i5/OS and I couldn't get an answer.

Ed Brill asked how many people were running Domino on Windows and several
hands went up. Then he asked how many were running it on iSeries and that
dwarfed the Windows people. At that time Ed made a comment on "Oh, it's
the Midwest." No one on zOS and a small handful on the rest of the
platforms.
