Re: 6.5.1 to 6.5.4

The incremental installers use the good old green-screen installation, but 
it would mean that you would have to download install three different 
packages, and you would have to do that for each cluster server.  The 
whole file install would be quicker in this case, as it would go from 
6.5.1 to 6.5.4 in one step. It is also easy to do both servers, if your 
cluster servers are on the same physical machine and LAPR.  I do think 
that the readme suggests upgrading both cluster servers at the same time 
or else deleting the clubusy.nsf file, you should check that out. Don't 
forget to check out product dependencies like Sametime, LEI and the C or 
C++ API.  Go with 6.5.4 FP1 like everyone suggests. I did not have the 
problems others had with 6.5.4, but my server task was consuming the CPU 
constantly.

Hello All,

      We are starting to plan the best way to get to Domino for iSeries
6.5.4 from Domino for iSeries 6.5.1.  We would be doing the upgrade on 2
servers that are the only members of a cluster designed for redundancy.
Our client software is currently 6.5.2.  I'm picking through IBM/Lotus' 
web
pages right now for info related to upgrading, but haven't gotten very far
yet.  In the meantime i'll ask the group for any tips or comments you 
might
be able to offer.  This list is way too quiet most of the time... not
nearly as much controversy as the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion
list. ;)
