Don't forget that the door swings both ways; you can also "export" the AS/400 IFS and "mount" it from Linux. I have not used it either way, so good luck. The NFS export is in the iSeries navigator. Right click on a folder in the IFS and select "NFS Export". You will also have to start the "NFS" server under TCP/IP servers. ==================================== Tom Kreimer Information Alternatives -----domino400-bounces+tkreimer=infoalt.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: ----- >To: Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 <domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> >From: Robert E Terry <rterry@xxxxxxxxxxx> >Sent by: domino400-bounces+tkreimer=infoalt.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx >Date: 07/08/2005 06:41AM >Subject: Extending the IFS to a Linux box > >Has anyone ever used the MOUNT command to extend there IFS >to an other host system? >What I wanted to do was use directory links to move archives off the >400 >and on to a new Linux PC server.
