Don't know @#$% about BRMS. However on a normal IFS save of our domino data we often use RST and restore to a different directory, not anywhere under our data directory - just elsewhere in the IFS. Then our help desk personnel can either map to it, ftp it, CPY using QNTC, etc. Now, if you have a share on your Intel, you should be able to restore to '/QNTC/MyIntelServer/MyIntelShare/ and so on'. Caveat: There may be a problem using SAV and/or RST to QNTC directories. If so, you may have to restore to a different directory and they CPY it via the QNTC directory. Caveat 2: Bad idea to normally have a map to your Domino server - on any platform. So if you create a share just to get QNTC to work, you might want to turn that share off afterwards. If you don't get any luck with this list then I would think it fair to try a reply with history and send it to the midrange-l list and see how BRMS can restore to a different directory. The tape was created using BRMS to back up while Domino is running. I need to restore a couple of the NSF files from that server, but not all of them. Can I restore selected NSFs directly to an Intel platform (assuming I have the right tape drive) or can I only restore them to an AS400? I only want the selected NSF files so that I can bring it them to the PC. Do I need to have Domino installed and running in order to restore these NSF files? Thanks. ******************************************************** Go... FASTER! Without an Upgrade! ARCTOOLS/400(tm) and ReorgWizard(tm) http://www.arctools.com DCSoftware, Inc.
