Domino supports partitioning. You can have multiple Domino partitions on
your iSeries. Not to be confused with iSeries LPAR. For example, on one
of my iSeries I can do WRKDOMSVR and I'll see the following:
Domino
Server
GDSHELP
DOMFAX01
GDDATA
GDSSALES
LEISERVE
NOTES01
QUALITY
SAMETIME01
OAKFARM01
INTERNOTES
LDAP01

SAMETIME01 is running SameTime. Now, you can configure each server to
have the same IP address and play some magic with ports. NOT RECOMMENDED!
No sober person does it that way. Each of my Domino servers has their
own IP address. If you web search think "bind to specific address". After
all, Sametime has it's own web based interface and who wants people to key
in http://www.mycompany.com:85 to get to the sametime server?

CFGTCP
1. Work with TCP/IP interfaces
Add your IP address for each Domino server
10. Work with TCP/IP host table entries
Basically I just add the local interfaces for documentation really.

For more Sametime documentation:
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/sametime/
then click on library on the left

Subject
Where's it at - iSeries Lotus IM setup.

Now that I finally have Domino/Notes 6.5.1 media and the special
Passport license for 20 Sametime clients I am looking at adding IM. The
only information I have been able to find on setting up the server
states that you have to 1) have a separate IP 2) a separate server
instance and 3) not much detail on really doing it on the iSeries.

Where can I find the information on adding Sametime (hopefully using the
same IP) as we go from 6.0.2CF1 to 6.5.1 or shortly thereafter?

I would really like to keep this as simple as possible as they only have
one server (iSeries at R5V2, Domino, and Apache for HTTP).

Thanks.
