Judging by the one person's off list offer to pay for shipping, I am 
guessing it's not worth very much.

For those who wanted to buy it:

Boss just let me know he already committed to a trade in.  Sorry for any 
false hopes raised.  I didn't know he was that far into the deal.

Perhaps it was one of those things like trading in a car
AmountOfCheck = NewCarPrice - TradeIn
and the AmountOfCheck stays the same regardless of what you negotiate for 
the Trade in value of the old car.
