We had this issue a while ago. There are to more ptfs beside OS/400 V4R5 PTF SF65118 needed before it works. SF64234 SF64149 All this ptfs have to be active before installing the LEI QMU, at that time we installed 3.1.02. This occurs with Direct Transfer and Replication Activities. The issue is most noticeable when viewing the data in the Notes database. The data will be followed by several spaces. This can also cause replication conflicts if "Disable Trimming of Trailing Spaces" is NOT checked, and the replication conflicts will then cause unnecessary insert/deletes to occur as well. Solution: This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been addressed in LEI for iSeries MU 3.1a 01. This fix works in conjunction with OS/400 V4R5 PTF SF65118. Note that neither the MU nor the OS/400 PTF alone will resolve this issue. They are BOTH required to address this issue. Michael Crump Saint-Gobain Containers 1509 S. We re-installed LEI and used the PTF's to move it up to the latest version. LEI now brings down the data from our AS/400 in to Notes BUT now includes trailling spaces, which means our Notes application thinks the data is 'new' rather than a refresh. Our AS/400 person is blaming Notes. Our Notes person is blaming the AS/400. Has anybody experienced anything similar and how did you get rid of those pesky trailing spaces? (Yes, the connection document has all the necessary remove trailing spaces options selected!)
