We experienced the exact same problem. You probably have R4.6 (or lower) of Notes which is not compatible with V4R5 (or higher) of OS. A workaround is to change the script to trim the trailing blanks, alternatively upgrade Domino on the AS400 to V5. |--------+--------------------------------> | | steven.donnellan@simon| | | jersey.com | | | | | | 08/11/2001 05:44 PM | | | Please respond to | | | domino400 | | | | |--------+--------------------------------> >----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: domino400@midrange.com | | cc: (bcc: Rosalie Ducasse/ITS/Omnia Group) | | Subject: LEI | >----------------------------------------------------------------------------| This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] We have upgraded our OS400 to V4R5 and this killed off our LEI. We re-installed LEI and used the PTF's to move it up to the latest version. LEI now brings down the data from our AS/400 in to Notes BUT now includes trailling spaces, which means our Notes application thinks the data is 'new' rather than a refresh. Our AS/400 person is blaming Notes. Our Notes person is blaming the AS/400. Has anybody experienced anything similar and how did you get rid of those pesky trailing spaces? (Yes, the connection document has all the necessary remove trailing spaces options selected!)
