calling rpg program without sql

Hey all,

I've found the example of calling an rpg program from a notes agent in the
dom400 archives, but I have a question.
I'm working for a client who doesn't have SQL on thier 400.  Without arguing
the relative merits of whether they should have SQL or not (of course they
should!) is there a way to call an rpg pgm without SQL?

I suppose I could put a trigger program on a decs connected dbf, but is there
an easier way?
