Well Bruce, Your answer depends on what your goals are. What you describe is basic relay for SMTP. You need to be careful here because if you open your ability to relay for the internet you could get black listed with http://or.orbl.org/ or one of the other ANTI-SPAM sites. Also, look at you MX records setup for you internet domain.
