Try LotusScript and use the SQL call level interface to execute a program
on the 400 side. It works pretty slick. You could call the QCMDEXC API.

Hello group

Can someone help or at least point me in the right direction in building a
notes application.
I have to build a notes application where I enter an OS400 command on a
form (seems
simple enough), but then it has to execute on the AS/400. I am using DECS
for my
connectivity, but I'm not exactly sure how to setup an activity just using
QSYS library.
Maybe I'm trying to skip to many steps, I don't know. I have no problems
setting up
a connection with a library and a database (DB2), and getting notes to
read it, this
program is a test for me, I'm in my beginning stages of Notes Developing.
Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
