Hello group

Can someone help or at least point me in the right direction in building a 
notes application.
I have to build a notes application where I enter an OS400 command on a form 
(seems
simple enough), but then it has to execute on the AS/400.  I am using DECS for 
my
connectivity, but I'm not exactly sure how to setup an activity just using QSYS 
library.
Maybe I'm trying to skip to many steps, I don't know.  I have no problems 
setting up
a connection with a library and a database (DB2), and getting notes to read it, 
this
program is a test for me, I'm in my beginning stages of Notes Developing. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
