Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the 'Contacts by Category' just a
different view containing the same records as in the view 'Contacts'?  Have
you actually witnessed this on her client or are you taking her for her
word?

I am running lotus notes 5.07 on the AS/400 V4R5. I have a user that has
created contacts in her contacts by category and groups. When she  updates
an e-mail address for a contact it does not update the e-mail address in
the contacts by category or the groups. Is there a way to program the
e-mail fields to link to one another. Or is there some other solution.
