Dial-up Notes server

I have a Domino R5 server (5.0.7) running on NT.  I have plugged a modem directly into the NT server and configured the modem and can dial-out via Hyper Terminal.  I want to be able to dial in on this modem to then connect to the Domino server that is running on this same machine.  In the Domino server console I keep getting the message: COM1 Device or unit # already in use.  I have no other communication packages running on this machine.  Cannot Domino answer the modem when it rings?  When I dial the number the modem rings but Domino nor NT answers the modem.  Any ideas?
