Looking to see what other people do concerning backing up Domino on the
AS/400. Currently we do the following every night:

             SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') +
                          OBJ('/LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400/MAIL/*.NSF') +
                          ENDOPT(*LEAVE)

This saves our users mail files.

On Saturday we run the following:

SAVLIB LIB(QNOTES QNOTESADVC QNOTESAPI QNOTESCPP +
                   QNOTESHTST QNOTESINT QNOTESLSKT) +
                   DEV(TAP01) ENDOPT(*LEAVE)

      ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(PATH) +
           VALUE('/QIBM/PRODDATA/LOTUS/NOTES:/QIBM/USERDATA+
                   /LOTUS/NOTES:/LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400') +
                   REPLACE(*YES)

      CHGCURDIR DIR('/LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400')

      SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(QNOTES/COMPACT)) +
                   JOBQ(*LIBL/QBATCH2) USER(QNOTES) +
                   CURLIB(*USRPRF) INLLIBL(*JOBD) +
                   CPYENVVAR(*YES)

      SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') +
                          OBJ('/LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400/MAIL/*.NSF') +
                          ENDOPT(*LEAVE)

This saves all the QNOTES* libraries, runs compact on all the databases &
then we save our users mail files.

Do we need to do anything else? The one thing I would like to do is save
everything under lotus/domino/hp400 instead of just mail/*.nsf on the
weekend. Would I change the save command to be /LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400/

Thanks for any input
Steve Jones
