We are running Domino version 5.0.2a on an AS/400 model 720. While
investigating some other issues, we discovered a large number of files with
the extension of "TMP" in our data directory on the server.

In Windows, these "TMP" files can be a bad thing when they stick around
from shut-down to shut-down. We are wondering if we should get rid of
these "TMP" files. We are thinking the procedure would be:

     1. Shut down the server.
     2. Delete the "TMP" files.
     3. Restart the server.

Has anyone else seen this type of thing and is our proposed solution is
corrected.

Thanks in advance,

Dwight Slessman
