And while I don't agree with that personally, I can see some places using that as a criteria provided there are still a suitable number of qualifed applicants. Unfortunately there are some people which instead of really having 30 years experience, what they have is one year's experience thirty times. In other words, they still code using RPG III (or II <g>) techniques writing monolithic, indicator-ridden programs in a style which is hard to maintain. I think those of us who frequent the list are not a good representation of the stereotypical person who has been coding RPG for 20+ years. Doug
